HAIRDRESSING NATIONAL CERTIFICATE II
Duration : 4 Months
This course is designed to enhance the knowledge, skills and desirable attitudes in hairdressing in accordance with industry standards. It covers basic haircare services such as hair coloring, bleaching, haircutting, straightening and perming and basic make-up application.
Entry Requirements:
Before entering this course, the learner:
✂ Must be able to communicate effectively both orally and in written form
✂ Must be physically, emotionally and mentally fit
✂ Must secure a medical certificate for fitness to handle chemicals
✂ Must be able to perform basic mathematical computation (Fundamental Operations)
This is a full course for aspiring Hairdressers. It covers all competencies needed to jumpstart your career in the Hairdressing industry.

INTENSIVE PROGRAM
5 sessions, 8am – 5 pm, 40 hours
This course aims to develop a solid foundation in Precision Ladies and Men’s haircutting through intense theory and hands-on practice. Here, students are given the fundamentals of haircutting and techniques. This will allow students a deep understanding and will be able to customize a particular cut to the specific feature of each client.

Models:

FUNDAMENTALS OF CREATIVE HAIR COLORING
Intensive Program
4 sessions , 8am – 5 pm, 32 hours
This course aims to provide the student with a clear understanding of the basics of hair coloring theory. The student is taught how to troubleshoot different scenarios in hair coloring. Starting with intense theory coupled with proper techniques and application, the learner would then be able to customize each coloring service to each client's needs.

HAIRSTYLING AND HAIR UPDO
Intensive Program
3 sessions, 8 am – 5 pm, 24 hours
Blow drying and hair styling finishing techniques could make or break the overall cut and color outcome. Students will learn how to showcase their creations with professional blow drying, styling, updo, and setting. Choosing the right styling products to achieve the desired style which is customized for individual usage and client hair type is focused. The core skill of blow dry, pre and post hair care activities are focused in this module paving way to mastering other salon chemical services.
