Signature Stylist Gen

Genelyn started her career in hairdressing with one of the most prestigious salons in the Philippines, where she received her precision haircutting and in-depth coloring techniques training. As a master colorist who underwent complete courses by prominent brands in the Philippines, she is able to incorporate fabulous color with creative signature haircuts. Since then, she has 10 years of experience in the industry under her belt, 3 of which were with a top salon in Doha, Qatar. She is well-versed in the field of coloring, haircutting, professional hair and makeup, and hairstyling. She currently belongs to an exclusive L'Oréal Color Club in the Philippines, wherein top hair colorists participate and educate themselves with the new trends. Genelyn is known for being keen on details and being approachable – qualities that make a good hairdresser.

With a college degree in Information Technology, it is evident in her work in the salon that she applies her analytical approach to doing things. She is known to be a perfectionist in her work, never compromising the quality and outcome of her hair creations. She has undergone Trainor’s Methodology Training Program (TMTP) and Competency Assessment Methodology Course (CAMC) held by TESDA (Technical Skills Development Authority), which qualifies her to train students taking up Hairdressing National Certificate II.

Creative Director Marcel

Marcel Jon has been a hair artisan for over 8 years. He began his career in hairdressing at ” The Hortaleza Salon” as a franchisee. He underwent intensive training in hair coloring and hair sciences.

Currently, Marcel Jon trains hairdressers of top salons and popular chain salons nationwide. Here, he can share his passion for hairdressing and impart what he learned from top hairdressers and hair educators in the country. Apart from his experience as a Hair Educator for leading brands in the Philippines, Marcel Jon conducted hair shows, workshops, seminars, and brand launches in major hairdressing conventions and trade shows. Currently, he is one of a handful of L'Oréal Certified Colorists in the country (LCC 2014). Hairdressing is a noble and rewarding career. Hence, Marcel Jon believes in equipping oneself with proper training, theory combined with practical application, and dedication to be the best in his chosen profession.

Marcel Jon is now the Creative Director of Vibrante Training Center. He manages Vibrante Salons with his wife Genelyn in Pangasinan and Benguet; Malasiqui, Dagupan, and Baguio City. His knowledge and background in hairdressing and salon management made him a sought-after consultant for top salons and barbershops nationwide. He is a graduate of Saint Louis University with a Bachelor of Science in Electronics and Communications Engineering (BS ECE) degree. Upon passing the National Board exams, he immediately pursued a two-year Master’s degree in Applied Business Economics (ABEP) in the top business school in the Philippines – University of Asia & the Pacific at Ortigas Center, Manila.
